    Glénan Islands

    Paradise island.

Seven small islands around an inland sea with crystal clear waters and white sand beaches…
Near the coast of Concarneau, this archipelago resembles the landscapes of a tropical paradise.

From June to September, boats depart from Bénodet, Concarneau, Loctudy, Pors-la-forêt and Beg Meil, taking passengers to Saint-Nicolas, the main island: this is an ideal day trip because the archipelago has no hotels and camping is prohibited. But during the season, the Glénans come alive with restaurants, a diving center and its famous sailing school.
On site, you can opt for a guided tour of the island or discover the marine life from a glass-bottomed boat. You can also discover a particular species of flower: the Glénan narcissus, characteristic of the archipelago.
